Gilad Soffer holds a BA in Psychology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a degree in Visual Communication from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. He has illustrated several picture books published in Israel, includingOh, Brother by Yonatan Yavin, which won the Israel Museum's Ben Yitzhak Award for children's book illustration. This is Gilad's first book as author and artist. He lives in Tel-Aviv with his partner and their three daughters.
