The story of Billy Parker, a guitar player who loves the purity of old-time country and gospel music and who believes the most important a musician can have, apart from raw talent, is taste. But, in order to make his living, Billy must play what bar crowds want to hear: top-40 radio songs. His life is further complicated by the discontent of his wife, Jean, her failure as an actress, her obsession with having a child, and her lovers.

CARLA MORRIS, has been a librarian for 21 years and she is a first time author. THE BOY WHO WAS RAISED BY LIBRARIANS pulls from Morris’ own love for libraries as a child and now as an adult. Carla received her Bachelor of Arts and her Masters in Library Science from Brigham Young University. She works as the Head of Children’s Services for the Provo City library in Provo, Utah.
